Days in the life of......

Week 1 completed.

So, week 1 of my weight loss is in the book. I feel ok, not great with all of this energy I hear you get from working out. My pants do feel a little bet looser in the legs. So, here it is...

Friday, May 8th Weight: 267.0 lbs Total loss: 10.4

I was a bit surprised by the total, but I have been eating very clean and working out. I don't expect this kind of numbers next week, but it's a good start.

I have been putting this off for years now, but it's time for me to get back into shape. I'll admit, I'm lazy. I'd rather sit in front of the computer and play video games or surf the web than workout. So here I am, focused and ready to get back into shape. I know it's not going to be easy, but it's something I need to do for myself.

My goal is to post once a week with my weight lose totals and maybe an updated picture once a month.

So, weight in was Friday, May 1st: Weight - 277.4 lbs

I've been told to take pictures of me for a starting point. I warn you, what you are about to see is horrid and should not be viewed by children.

I guess I need to start someplace.

Well, it's been about 3 months since I have posted anything. Things have been going pretty good of late. I still have a job, kids are good and my wife and I are doing great. But as of this post she is with her girlfirend down in Las Vegas for a girl's trip. They left Saturday morning. She has called a few times to check on me which I like, but I didn't think it would effect me that much. It's currectly 6:36am on Sunday and I haven't slept at all. I have been up for 26 hours now. I know it's silly but I miss her and just having a hard time dealing with it. She will be home late Monday night and I can't wait to hold her in my arms again.

It's been awhile.

Well, it's been awhile since I have posted anything. I have FINALLY got a job. I'm so excited. Some people I'm sure think I'm crazy, but I'm offically a Corrections Officer. Yes, I'm a prison guard. I'll keep you all up to date on that.

With the new job comes something else.....getting my fat ass into shape. So for those few who read my blog you get to follow along with me and my weight loss. Wish me luck.

Stressed.

So I have been on the job hunt for sometime now and this has to be the most stressful time in my life. I thought getting a job wouldn't be too hard and maybe be out of work for a month or two but here I am 6 months later with no job. Things are looking up I hope. I have interviewed with a prison in the area and they are doing my background now. I know it sounds scary, but I'm really excited about it. I'm praying I get this job. I need some good luck for a change.

Bad Boys, Whatcha gonna do....

So we had some excitement on our street on Sunday. We heard police cars racing down the street and of coursed I rushed out to see what was going on. So there I'm standing with everyone else in the cold looking at the 6 police cars at the end of our road. Then the fire truck and aid car show up. All we can think is someone has died or something. The next day I get the scoop from the nosey lady from across the street. Apparently there was a domestic disturbance and the police where called. A man comes out of the house when the police arrive and trys to attack the police with a weed eater. Yes, I said a weed eater; the kind for doing yard work and stuff. What the hell is that? So the police did what the had to do......they used the tazer on him. Ugh, some people are just stupid. /sigh
